With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Linda Pauline James of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on November 14, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Leon Calloway and Agnes Lenora Raby Calloway; her husband Robert "Bob" Willis James; and her brother Jimmy Calloway. She is survived by: her children, Dale (Debbie) of Scaly, NC, Neal James of Scaly, NC, Lynn McCall (Yogi) of Highlands, NC and Sandra Brown of Salem, SC; her siblings, Doyle Calloway (Margaret) of Highlands, NC, Mary Ann Cresswell of Highlands, NC and Gail Cheaney (Phil) of Hilton Head, SC; her grandchildren, Justin Brown, Dillon Brown, Kayla Bryson (Ryan), Craig McCall (Hannah), Amy James, Sam James, Kelsey James and Lauren Messer (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Cole Brown, Noah Johnson, Rylee Bryson, Laney Bryson, Kinsley Bryson, Gloria McCall, Lyla Messer, Gentry Messer and Riley Messer. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Flats of Middle Creek Baptist Church at P.O. Box 220 Scaly Mountain, NC 28775.
