Kenneth James Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth James of Scaly Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Kenneth leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rena James; his brother Bob James; and his son Lamar James. He is survived by: his brother Norman James of Merced, California; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Fair (CB), Russell James (Peggy), Mitchell James and Sonya James-Carpenter (Clarence). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Flats of Middle Creek Missionary Baptist Church. Donations can be mailed to 131 Brown Lake Rd, Scaly Mountain, NC 28775.
