She was predeceased by: her husband Seth Hawkins Tyson V; and her parents, Harris Billings and Sarah Billings. She is survived by: her children, Seth Hawkins Tyson VI (Lisa), Harry Tyson (Lee) and Julia Tyson Bass (Chris); her sister Emily Smith; and her grandchildren, Anna Tyson Parris (Hunter), Abigail Tyson, Matthew Tyson, Seth Tyson, Tyson Bass and Ryan Bass.
In lieu of flowers, Nancy requested that memorials be made to Community Home Care and Hospice, 2841 Daisy Lane N, Ste.E, Wilson NC, 27896, so they can "provide care to the others like they did me".
