She was predeceased by: her husband Carlos Pate; her son Richie Pate; and her parents, Howell Rich and Mozelle Driver Rich. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Sharp (Chris) of Bailey; her grandchildren, Jordan Pate of Saratoga, Johnny Pate (Devin) of Pinetops, Trevor Pate of Lucama, Zach Pate of Lucama, Lauren Cade of Rocky Mount and Brad Garris (Sara) of Sims; her great grandchildren, Victoria, Lelan, Emberlyn, Noah, Ariel Pate, Charlie Wood, Dylan, Blayden Cade and Carter Pendergrass; and her sister Joan Brown (Troy) of Rocky Mount.
