It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Marshall of Sanford, North Carolina, born in Carthage, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Watson Taylor and Lela Frances Reynolds Taylor; her husband Robert Wayne Marshall; and her siblings, Elbert Taylor, Jr. (Bud), Larry Taylor, Gerald Taylor and Toby Taylor.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Gilliam (George) of Sanford, Sandra Pridgen (John) of Holly Springs and Robert Scott Marshall (Hillarey) of Sanford; her siblings, Carol Thomas, Doris Keith and Lewis Taylor; her grandchildren, Karli Marshall, Cohen Marshall, William Pridgen, Andrew Pridgen, Lisa Ragland (Bryan) and George Mack Gilliam; and her great grandchildren, Nikki and Hayden Ragland.
