With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Hester (Sanford, North Carolina), born in Marshville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 18, 2018 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Luther B. Hester; her nephew James P. Wilson Jr.; and her niece Helen Clapp Melvin. She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Allen L. Clapp (Anne) of Raleigh and Russell A. Williams Jr.; her wife Leslie; and also, Jean W. Watkins of Siler City and Jane W. Parrish of Cameron.
