She was predeceased by: her parents, Emuel McAuley and Cassolene McNeill McAuley; her stepmother Sadie Dickens McAuley; and her husband Willard Pearson of Harnett County. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Lonell Pearson (Diane) of Washington, D. C., Willard Leron Pearson, Aaron Noble Pearson (Annette) of Asheboro, N. C. and John Anthony Pearson (Janice) of Sanford, N. C.; and her sister-in-law Johnnie McAuley. She is also survived by her four sons, three daughters in love, nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1613 Cherokee Trail, Sanford, NC 27332. Viewing will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cameron Grove A. M. E. Zion Church (309 Vernon St, Broadway, NC 27505). A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Love Grove AME Zion Church (796 Love Grove Church Rd, Sanford, NC 27332).
