He is survived by: his wife Margie; his son Reggie Buie (Casey) of Stafford, VA; his grandson Brandon of Stafford, VA; his siblings, Janice Anderson (Clinton) of Sanford, NC, Vickie Massey (Vincent) of Upper Marlboro, MD and Ron McLean (Michelle) of Raleigh, NC; his aunt Elnora Buie of Washington, DC; his uncle Jessie Chalmers of Sanford, NC; his siblings-in-law, Mary Fluellen of Leonardtown, MD, Agnes Brooks of San Diego, CA, Ann Moore of San Diego, CA, Linda Green of San Diego, CA, George Curtis of San Diego, CA, Joseph Curtis of District Heights, MD and Thomas Curtis of Great Mills, MD; his nephew Quentin Buie of Baltimore, MD; and his cousin Joyce Cossey of Savannah, GA. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, countless cousins, and friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Williams Chapel Presbyterian Church (1750 Buie Rd, Broadway, NC 27505). A burial will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at the same location.
