He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Glendora Richardson; his grandparents, Sam and Annie Handy Richardson; his sister Overa Ann Martin; his mother-in-law Elizabeth Lyons; his brother-in-law Ricky Lyons; his wife Bessie Lyons Richardson; his sons, Darrell Lyons (Brittany Davis) and Darrick Lyons; his grandchildren, Kylee Lyons, Aubree Lyons, Tiffany McLean, J. J. McLeod, Tyonna McLeod and Damoni Lyons; his uncle Earl Richardson; his aunt Sarah Foxx (James); his great-aunts, Augusta Goodyear of Red Springs, NC and Carrie Mae Leatherwood of Detroit, MI; his in-laws, Dottie Wilson (Mark), Lisa Gunter (Greg), Pamela Lyons and Angela Lyons; his close friends, Larry Bryant, Evander Dalrymple and John Miles; and also Glendora Richardson. He was also cherished by nephews, nieces, and cousins; and many, many friends.
