She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Piggie and Leroy Verbal; and her brothers, Benjamin, Ray and David (Horace).
She is survived by: her children, Felicia Spruell and Tracy Spruell (Rhonda); her stepchildren, Brenda Robinson, Joanne Wofford (Anthony) and Kevin Marion of New Jersey; her brothers, Larry Piggie and Bobby Piggie (Sheila); her grandchildren, Erica Pearson (Colby), Ohmar Spruell and Daysha Spruell; and her great grandchildren, Eden, Brielle, Khalil and Nevaeh. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at the Lee Memory Gardens (2600 Hawkins Ave, Sanford, NC 27330).
