As Samuel Leo departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Samuel Leo may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Samuel Leo leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Arthur Carter and Huby Grace Humphrey Carter; his wife Janet Tabor Carter; and his brothers, Rick Carter and Danny Carter.
He is survived by: his daughter Amanda Brooke Carter; and his brother Don Carter. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Tramway Baptist Church (2401 Jefferson Davis Hwy, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
