He was predeceased by: his parents, Bracey Jacobs and Carrie Mae Freeman Jacobs. He is survived by: his wife Dean Jacobs of Sanford, NC; his sons, Jerry Jacobs (Tara), Sammy Jacobs (Renee) and Steven Jacobs; and his siblings, Richard Jacobs and Joycie Carter.
