He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Ben Goins and Leona McLeod Goins; and his siblings, Bennie Goins and Brenda Woody. He is survived by: his children, Heather Goins of Sanford, Amber Thompson of Siler City and Jonathan Goins of Siler City; his siblings, Bobby Goins of Sanford, Rachael Bayes of Sanford and Becky Young of Princeton; and his grandsons, Andrew Hicks, Nicholas Hicks and Cason Hayes.

Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
