We are sad to announce that on May 15, 2024, at the age of 77, Ronnie Paul Godfrey of Sanford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Paul Godfrey and Viola Baker Collins; and his siblings, Willie Everette Godfrey, Timothy James Godfrey, Terry Lee Perdue, Marie Sheffield and Kay Mitchell.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Gault Godfrey; his daughters, Dawn Godfrey, Brenda Johnson and Sherry Godfrey; his siblings, Joe Godfrey (Lois), Jack Godfrey (Debra), Linda Patterson (Halford), Darlene Turner (Ronnie), Paula Rinehart (Steve), Deborah Walker (Ron), Regina Daniels and Diane Perdue; and his stepmother Doris Godfrey. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
