It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roderick Fitzgerald Quick of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnsie Mae Quick and James Edward Petty; his son Raekwon Quick; his stepfather Otis Brown; and his sister Regina McLean.
He is survived by: his children, Kiara Quick, Alexis Headen (Ricky) and Christopher Hill; his siblings, Sharon Moore (James), Chanda Rice, Tony Quick and Ellis Covington; his grandchildren, Jayda, Jaylani, Journee Headen, Jacari Hill, Jamari and Ja'Sere Headen; his godson Jaheim Percell; his uncle Nelson Quick; his aunt Alberta McLean; and his close friend Robin Dolby.
