He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Will Sr. and Ruth Gooden Will; and his former wife Alice Sipple Will. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Murphy Will of Sanford; his brother Billy; his sister-in-law Brenda Will of Wyoming, Delaware; his children, Robert James Will III (Susan Pittman Will) of Wilson, Reed Jeffrey Will of Raleigh, Jamie Nichole (Thomas M. Deis) of Hillsborough and Patrick Alex (Kristyn D. Will) of New Hill; and his grandchildren, Alice Ivy (Mason A. Simpson) of Charlotte, Tess E. Will of Wilmington, James B. Sheppard, Georgia K. Will of Smithfield, William, Olivia, Luke Deis of Hillsborough, Koen Robert Will and Kaiya Bailey of New Hill.
