With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Knight of Sanford, North Carolina, born in Reidsville, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Percy Knight and Addie Elizabeth Hubbard Knight; his sisters, Anna Lorene and Bobbi Jean; and his former wife Betty Knight.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Steinberg Knight; his children, Linda Faye Knight (Ricky James) of Sanford, NC, Brenda Hunt (Wayne) of Prospect Hill, NC, Diane Oldham (David) of Sanford, NC, Christina Hull (Michael) of Greensboro, NC, Keli Queen (Larry) of Concord, NC, Robert Lee Knight Jr. (Betty) of Lancaster, SC and James William Knight of Sanford, NC; and his siblings, Nancy Graham of Pennsylvania and Gary Graham of Florida.
