We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2023, at the age of 85, Robert Kennedy of Sanford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Manley Kennedy and Elva Hunter Kennedy; his wife Margaret "Peggy" Campbell Kennedy; his son Tony Kennedy (Donna) of Sanford, NC.; his brother Charles Kennedy of Sanford, NC.; his grandchildren, Dana Mauldin (Scott) of Sanford, NC and Kasey Sanders (Chris) of Pittsboro, NC.; and his stepgranddaughter Brandy Thompson of Sanford, NC. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Poplar Springs United Methodist Church, 1809 Poplar Springs Church Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
