With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Alex Griffin of Sanford, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 15, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Griffin and Lottie Byrd Griffin; his wife Ernestine Harrington Griffin; and his brother John Wesley Griffin, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Whaley (Aaron) of Spring Lake and Ernest Griffin (Cindy) of Broadway; his sisters, Imogene Del Conte of Fayetteville and Doris Bridges of Sanford; and his close friend Sara Lamm (Sanford).
