With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Eugene Coleman Sr. of Sanford, North Carolina, born in Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Coleman and Ruby Coleman; and his siblings, WJ Coleman, Shelton Butler, Norine Stone, Dorine McCoy and Jan Heslar.
He is survived by: his wife Dianna Coleman; his children, Mickey Ashley (Mike), Richard "Ricky" Coleman Jr., David Hesselmeyer (Amanda) and Brian Hesselmeyer (Nichole); and his siblings, Glenn Coleman (Marie), Joyce Grimes and Irma Duke. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren.
