He is survived by: his wife Debbie Louise Adamson Lyons; his children, Richard Dennis Lyons (Sherri), Rachel L. Hinson (Tom), Christina Kirby (Robert) and Stephanie Ann Hess (Jason); his brothers, Steven Lyons and Donald Lyons; his grandchildren, Brittany Scott, Ryan Holder, Dalton Hess, Ethan Kirby and Maverick Hess; and his great grandchild Brayden Scott.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rogers-Pickard Funeral Home (509 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
