Reevis Stancil Alphin Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Reevis Stancil Alphin (Sanford, North Carolina), who passed away on August 13, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Alphin and Clara Dail Alphin; his half-sisters, Norma Rae Summerlin (Clayton), Viola Winstead (Cecil) and Sallie Ruth Greenwood; and his siblings, Donnell Alphin, Peggy Swinson, Wendell Alphin, Fred Alphin, Jr. and William Jackson Alphin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Robert (Stephanie) and Carla; his grandsons, Trace Alphin and Sam Alphin; his sister Linda Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Carol Alphin, Eva Alphin, Mary Alphin, Glenn Alphin and H. C. Gilliam. He is also survived by his 10 siblings.
In remembrance, the family asks that any charitable donations be made in honor of Al's memory to Pocket Presbyterian Church in Sanford, NC or to the SPCA of the Triad.
