He was predeceased by: his parents, Carolyn Chesney Snipes and Raymond Richmond; his stepfather Wade Lindsey; and his nephews, Stanley Wilson Jr. and Jerome.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Chesney; his children, Shalonda Clemons (Russell) of Sanford, NC, Taj Wilson (Courtney) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Ashley Wilson of Sanford, NC; his siblings, Patrick Lindsay (Sheila), Ronald Earl Richmond (Sarah) and Sophia Alston (Rengate); his siblings-in-law, Stanley Wilson, Patricia Hawes (Charlie), Phyllis Brooks, Velma Simon, Delphia Flack and Gloria Dowdy; his uncle Lacy George Chesney (Jacqueline); his aunts, Geraldine Jones, Viola Barrett, Sarah Cotton (Nathaniel), Annie Lindsay and Brenda Womble; his grandchildren, Jamaul Wilson, Alena Clemons, Ava Wilson, Amiya Wilson and Ella Rose Wilson; his great grandchild Laquita Wilson; his grandson Sevion Clay; and his friends, Kim Beal, Shanella McLean, Carrie Martinez, Cherry Cearnal, Faye Faulk and Ashley Hamilton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
