It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Buchanan of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Foldger Phillips and Lolita Deaton Phillips; her husband John "Fred" Frederick Buchanan; her siblings, Yvonne Seagroves and Walter "Johnny" Phillips; her grandson Jason Taylor; her great grandchild Mikel Sadler; and her pet Petre.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Buchanan and Jan Buchanan of Sanford; her granddaughter Dana Sadler (Jimmy) of Carthage; her great grandchildren, Marissa Christian, Garrett Christian, Carly Marks (Colton) and Megan Lee (Brandon); and her pet Archie. She is also survived by 7 great-great-grandchildren.
