She was predeceased by: her parents, Ester Byrd Battle and Catherine Lorirrella Kelly Battle; and her husband John Earl Petty. She is survived by: her children, Reginald, Bridgette and Bruce Petty; her grandchildren, Brittany Sue Petty and Bruce Petty Jr.; her sisters, Addie Petty and Ester Headen; and her sister-in-law Ethel Petty. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
