It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Anne Morton of Sanford, North Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on June 24, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lyle Phillips and Lessie Lawrence Phillips; and her brothers, Wayne Phillips, Richard Phillips, George Phillips and Paul Phillips.

She is survived by: her husband John Wayne Morton; her children, John Morton Jr. (Kim) and Phillilp Morton; and her grandson Dylan Morton.
