He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Lankford and Julia Ann Tucker Lankford; and his brother Robert Porter Lankford. He is survived by: his wife Betty "Jackie" Denny Lankford; his children, Anthony "Tony" Ned Lankford and Tammy Sue Lankford of Winston-Salem; and his siblings, Judy Cole of Carthage and Steve Lankford of Carthage.
