Mary Louise Pennington Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Louise Pennington of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Smith and Minnie Smith; her husband Max Pennington; her daughter Patricia Jo DeVoss; and her siblings, Annie Mae Yeatts, Evelyn Griffin, Clara Davis and Marshall Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Morris (Jeff) of Newport, TN and Sheila Miller (Steve) of Sanford, NC.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Albemarle Baptist Church (336 Church St, Albemarle, NC 28001-3602). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Ms. Louise's memory to the West Albemarle Baptist Church, Project Built on Faith ministry (https://westalbemarle.com.) Stanly Funeral and Cremation Care of Albemarle is serving the Pennington family.
