With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Lee Dutton of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lynn McIver and Mildred Muse Fields; and her husband John Dutton. She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Smith (Clifford) and Trish Hamilton Michelle (Mark); her grandchildren, Katie Smith (Kerry), Jordan Anderson (Gordon), Ryan Childress (Barbara), Van Smith (Caroline) and Jacob Smith; and her great grandchildren, Vivienne, Killian, Annabelle, Eliza Jane Smith, Cash, Everleigh Kate Smith and Leo Childress.
Donations in her honor can be made to Lee County Animal Services, Temple Theatre, or to a charity of your choosing.
