He was predeceased by: his parents, Etta Lea Perdok and Leonard Carroll Paul; his stepfather Stephan Peridok; and his siblings, Lennie Paul and Sharron Hoddinott.

He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Higgs Paul; his children, TaLisa Kohan (Kenneth Kohan) and Lauren Paul (Danny O'Brien); his grandchild Kelsie Kohan; his siblings, Larry Paul (Linda Paul) and Beverly Paul; and his nieces and nephews, Nikolas-Kenia, Javier, Adam, Drew, Emmanuel and Nathalie.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that a donation be made in honor of Lonnie to Manna Church in Fayetteville, NC.
