He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Edward Durham Sr. and Lucy Ann Durham; and his sister Deborah Durham. He is survived by: his wife Melrose McGilveary Durham; his children, Sondra Durham, Tanasha Durham of Sanford, NC and Lonnie Durham of Greensboro, NC; his sister Rosa Durham of Sanford, NC; his grandchildren, Jaime Stakermann, Lonnie Durham, Jabahri Durham, Le'Lani Durham, Nolan Durham, Brielle Durham, Kaleb Durham, Kholten Durham, Kash Durham, Karter Durham, Kairie and Kali; his aunt Sadie Brown-Smith of Detroit, MI; and his uncle Laymond Brown of Sanford, NC. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Knotts Funeral Home (719 Wall St, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the First Calvary Baptist Church (240 Fields Dr, Sanford, NC 27330). A burial will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at the Minter Cemetery Minter School.
