LaVerne Windsow was predeceased by: parents, Ethel May Pruitt and Perry James Thornton; and sister Betty Jean Palmer. LaVerne Windsow is survived by: wife Lucille Baker Thornton; children, Perry J. Thornton (Mara) of Wake Forest, NC and LaVisa Thornton Evans (Doyle) of Beaufort, NC; sister Brenda Meeks (David); granddaughter Chelsea Nicole Evans of Wilmington, NC; and caregiver Made Adame.
