She is survived by: her mother Virginia Palmer Gillis of Sanford, NC; her daughter Heaven Leigh Godwin; her siblings, Karen Gillis Bush of Sanford, NC, Jimmy Gillis of Sanford, NC and Kent Gillis (Karen) of Ronda, NC.; her nieces and nephews, Crystal (Drew), Courtney, Kennedi, Caryn, Charlotte, Dylan, Connor, Peyton, Brandon, Christopher, Hunter and Aiden; her in-laws, Jane and Bobby Brewer; her brother-in-law Kevin Godwin (Cris); and her close friend Anna Stockdale.
