He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Edwards and Ola Flynn Edwards; and his siblings, Greer Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards Brown and Kathleen Edwards Deaton.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Cockman Edwards; his children, Kathy E. Yarborough (Freddie) of Sanford and Mark Edwards (Terri) of Woodstock, GA; and his grandson Cameron Joseph Yarborough of Morrisville. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Cameron Church Cemetery (600 Carthage St, Cameron, NC 28326).
