He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Thompson and Celleon Peterson Thompson; and his siblings, Furman Thompson, Jessie Thompson, Clifford Thompson, Eddie Thompson, Jenny Mae Harris, Callie Ruth Louden and Hattie Robinson.
He is survived by: his sister Bobbie Holloway of Ninety Six, SC; and his nieces, Cathy Pope, Clemmie Simmons and Karen Battle. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
