He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis E Orum and Mabel C Woodburn Orum; his wife Dorothy Edwards Orum; his sons, Dan Orum and Jack Orum; and his sister Shirley Syfrett.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Cardilli, James Orum, Kathy Karstaedt (Pete), Elizabeth Pierce (Greg), Mary Elizabeth Rackley (Jason) and Lawrence Orum (Ming Chu); and his daughter-in-law Kathy Orum. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and twenty one great-grandchildren.
