He is survived by: his children, Virginia Renee Ashmore (Michael Ashmore) and John Thomas Ainsworth Jr. (Kristin Ainsworth); his brother David Ainsworth (Sandy); and his grandchildren, John Thomas Ainsworth III and Zoey Mae Ainsworth.
