We are sad to announce that on April 21, 2025, Jerry Eugene Allen of Sanford, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Jerry shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Jerry farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Allen and Maggie McLeod Allen; his wife Margaret S. Allen; and his grandson Harrison G. Zellers. He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer George (Steve) of Raleigh, Kimberly Lunsford (Keith) of Sanford and Cynthia Holt (Tim) of Sanford; his grandchildren, Allen Blackwelder, Dusty Thomas, Zane Crain and Zachery Crain; and his great grandchild Chasity Graham.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bridges-Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Buffalo Cemetery (1333 Carthage St, Sanford, NC 27330).
