He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Grace Moore (Stuart Thomason) of Morrisville; his grandson James Lasater Thomason; his sisters, Wanda Hunter (Tye) of Chapel Hill, Debbie MacDonald (Steve) of St Augustine, FL and Libby Smith (Nelson) of Rocky Mount; his close friends, Dr. Howard James and Laura Farmer; and his former wife Virginia Moore. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephew.
