He is survived by: his wife Catherine "Cathy" Carroll Gales; his daughters, Kelsey Gales of Charlotte and Kaitlyn Gales Fisher (Eric) of Sanford; and his brother Don Gales (Julie) of Sweetwater, TN. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
