He is survived by: his wife Marie Stone Gunter; his son Glenn Ray Gunter II (Pam) of Sanford; his grandchildren, Noah Gunter, Haley Gunter, Theresa Johnsen (Cliff) of Raleigh and Ryan Beachler; and his great grandchildren, Ryan Beachler, Jr. and Jack Wyatt Johnsen.
