He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Staten and Martha Mae Hooper; and his brother Gerald Staten. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashanta Staten, Aszure Dee Gardner and Treasure West; and his brother Billy Staten. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
