It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Marcellus Walton of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Walton; and his parents, Oliver Walton and Mary Walton. He is survived by: his children, Marc Walton of Olivia, NC, Kari Walton of Sun Prairie, WI and Holly Walton of Olivia, NC; his granddaughter Kallan Engleson of Sun Prairie, WI; his brother-in-law Winston Bailey (Patsy) of Washington, GA; and his son-in-law Michael Engleson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
