It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Bertus Maddox of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Maddox and Nina Womack Maddox; his siblings, Watson Maddox, Elizabeth Maddox McWaters, Kathleen Dennis McWaters, Mazie Maddox and Sally Maddox Williams; and his brother-in-law Henry McWaters. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
