He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny L. Jones and Lillie Havel Jones; his wife Nelda Honeycutt Jones; and his daughter Lori J. Saubers. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Jones Childress (Kemp Jan II); his grandchildren, Kayleigh Childress (Reinaldo Quinones), Max Everett Childress and Lauren H. Mayo (Jesse); his great grandchild Josey Leigh Mayo; and his niece Cynthia Lowder Dean (Jim).
