He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Pietsch Sr. and Mary Haggen Pietsch; his son Edwin Pietsch (Eddie); and his brothers, Douglas Pietsch (Carole) of Mt and Robert Pietsch Jr. (Janice) of Virginia.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Kriner Pietsch; his children, Scott, Shawn (Gene), Mark, Luke, April Zimmerman (Chris), Roxanne Randow (Mike), Rodney Kriner, Eric Pietsch and Kathy Shytle (Todd); and his sisters, Margaret Pietsch Supeck (Jim), Joyce Pietsch Fleming and Janice Pietsch Kauffman (Louis). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Riverview Burial Park (1100 S Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602).
