He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. McGinty and Georgette McGinty; his daughter Christine McGinty (Daniel Wiggins); and his siblings, Mark McGinty and Elaine Winger.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Konetsky; his children, Julie Murray (Steve) of Apex and Daniel McGinty of Sanford; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Thomas and Megan Murray; and his sisters, Georgette Ventura of Lebanon, PA, Diane Clark (Mark) and Mary Boyer of Franklin, PA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
