With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Danny Ray Nunnery Sr. of Sanford, North Carolina, who passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther "Luke" Nunnery and Kathleen Hurley Nunnery; his former wife Patsy Faye Brand Nunnery; and his children, Danny Ray Nunnery, Jr., Jessica Nunnery and Sammy Nunnery.
He is survived by: his wife Angela "Angel" Comer Nunnery; his children, Kristie Medlin (Brian), James Luther "Luke" Nunnery, Jr. (Abbey) and Meghan Hertzog; and his siblings, Brenda Nunnery Sawyer, James Waylon Nunnery, Wanda Nunnery Branch, Roger Dale Nunnery, Lila Diane Potts (Jack) and Ricky Lee Nunnery (Sylvia "Tootie"). He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Jones Chapel United Methodist Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
