He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Leroy Dalrymple and Frances Louise Stack Dalrymple; his wife Mary "Pinky" McNeill Dalrymple; his son Clyde Benton Dalrymple; and his brothers, Carlton Dalrymple, Raymond Dalrymple and James Dalrymple.
He is survived by: his sons, Chris Dalrymple (Mandy) of Sanford and David Dalrymple (Amy) of Sanford; his siblings, Ernest Dalrymple (Carolyn), Archie Dalrymple (Gloria) and Sarah Godfrey; his grandchildren, LeeAnna Swann (Adam) of Broadway, Bayleigh Dalrymple and Emaleigh Dalrymple; and his great grandchild Gracelynn Swann.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bridges - Cameron Funeral Home (600 W Main St, Sanford, NC 27332). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
