He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cameron and Velma Saunders Cameron; and his brother-in-law Chuck Kelly. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sue Howard Cameron; his daughters, Wendy C. Strickland (Sted) of Moncure, NC, Dorothy Denise Cameron of Sanford, NC and Stephanie Brown McRae (Craig) of Sanford, NC; his siblings, Sue Kelly of Sanford, NC, Gail Holder (Tommy) of Broadway, NC, Delores Greene of Lillington, NC, Kay Angell (Jim) of Greensboro, NC and Ronald Cameron (Agnes) of Broadway, NC; his grandchildren, Britt McRae (Chelsey), Brice McRae, Cameron Williams (Austin), Abbey Marsh and Hunter Stickland; and his great grandchild Fletcher Williams.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Baptist Chapel Church (2413 Buckhorn Rd, Sanford, NC 27330). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
